SRIRAM RAJAGOPALAN, PH.D.

Dr. Rajagopalan graduated with a Bachelor’s degree (BE) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Madras in India, a Master's (MS) degree in Computer Engineering from Wayne State University, Michigan, a business (MBA) degree in Management from Concordia University, Wisconsin, and a doctorate (PhD) degree in Organization and Management from Capella University, Minnesota.  Dr. Rajagopalan also holds the professional certifications in project management (PMP, IT Project+) and Sarbanes-Oxley IT Controls. Dr. Rajagoplan's professional work experience include a) managed complex projects delivering customized software application providing notifications on both .Net and J2EE architectures in West Notifications Group, b) evaluated IT controls for SOX audit for Blue Cross Blue Shield, c) gathered business requirements and managing the design to deployment of the firm's web-based projects for a consulting client as part of a sole proprietorship, d) managing project and process for a specific financial reconciliation product at Legg Mason Asset Management division, e) served in many roles for an organically developed billing product at eFunds, and f) worked as software engineer for GE Medical Systems. Dr. Rajagopalan facilitated several courses in Database, SQL, Business Systems, Web Design, project management, and other courses in Milwaukee, Baltimore (Columbia and Rockville), and online campuses. Dr. Rajagopalan also taught technical courses at Strayer University and Cardinal Stritch University, and Visual Communication courses like Web Design, Interactive Scripting, Flash Animation, and networking principles in online and Schaumburg campuses at International Academy of Design & Technology. Dr. Rajagopalan has taught associate, undergraduate, and graduate courses and has also mentored students for individual studies.
